Going up in bra size and a little confused on how a bra should fit.
Hello! I’m a 26 year old female that has been a B cup pretty much since high school.
Last year I bought a few t-shirt bras (no wire), going from a 34B to a 36B (gained roughly 30 lbs after graduating college a few years previous). I bought my bras from PINK and I did get measured by an attendant back then.
Recently I’ve noticed my nipples have been spilling out of my bras as I wear them throughout the day and knew I probably had to size up to a C.
Well today I went back to PINK and grabbed a 36C and when I tried it on, my nipples were still sitting close to the top of the cup. I grabbed a 36D and my nipple definitely fits more comfortable and not so close to the top of the cup, but my left breast is slightly smaller than my right and there is minimal gapping - more so when i lean over.
Unfortunately there was no attendant that I could track down to help measure me, but I figured it would be usually since I was wearing a bra that I knew was too small for me anyways.
The point of this post: I was not suspecting to be a freaking D cup, and while my breasts do fill out the cup pretty well, there is slight gapping. But when I wear a C cup, my breast fill out the cups well, but my nipples still sit very close to the top of the cup. I was wondering which cup size I should sway to?
I also have an issue where i get a bulge where the cup/band meet on the side of the breast, underneath the armpit- it happened constantly in the B cup and happens now in the C and D cups. Not sure if this is because of the style of bra (lightly lined, wireless t-shirt bra). I did get a bra with a wire that it doesn’t seem to happen with- I’m just not used to wired bras.
The calculator says I’m roughly a 36D/DD.
Thank you!
