Imagine 3v3 King of The Hill in Pinwheel

You're new to marathon, you don't want to get in a game just to be sent back to the lobby, so you select the arena to get a substantial feel for the physics and mechanics of the game.

You load into Pinwheel with a sponsored kit, but quickly down a player after getting the jump on them. You examine their bag to find that they have a gold circuit breaker. You take it and start making your way towards the hill.

Enemy player is sitting on the hill in a bubble shield racking up time. You full charge circuit breaker and while strafing accidently strafe out of the bubble while firing, but still down the player, and learn what circuit breaker is capable of. You loot from the safety of the bubble.

You now own the bubble and the hill, firing through the bubble at people as they push you and eventually get overpowered.

You respawn either with your infill kit or with no kit, requiring kills or looting to obtain one.

After respawning you see the hill move from bottom mid to command wing. When this happens, an alarm sounds, and red room opens. As you book it to the hill you see your two blue shield teammates running the opposite way towards red room. You push the hill still, down one and break a shield before you get downed, then see the cavalry coming with new purple shields, grenades, and shotguns they got from red room. Y'all loot, win the hill, win the match, and when you get back to the lobby, non of that stuff follows you out, but you know where you can go get it, and then it will follow you back in.

I know POIs would have to be somewhat retrofitted to be functioning arena maps but they're already very functional combat areas.

This game has such an ability to use the mechanics to give all types of players an awesome variety of experiences. Please don't leave the potential unrealized.

New Game probably shouldn't be another multiplayer only live service

No one gave Arena Reloaded a fair shot because they saw SG2 as a trend chasing cash grab. If the new game from the same devs is again multiplayer only live service it may be eaten alive. If that's the plan resources may be better spent developing a campaign for Splitgate AR.
