For the ladies … fissures tied to hormonal cycles/menstrual

I’m wondering if any other women deal with recurring anal fissure symptoms that seem really tied to hormones/cycles?

Mine started after having my first child, and ever since then I notice everything gets worse around my period — more pelvic pressure/congestion, burning, sensitivity, hemorrhoids, and the fissure gets irritated more easily. I also had Botox for the fissure at one point, and weirdly that’s when I started getting thrombosed hemorrhoids too.
What confuses me is that my symptoms are very cyclical/hormonal. Some weeks I feel almost normal, then PMS hits and the whole area feels inflamed or overly sensitive again. I don’t have obvious GI symptoms like weight loss, fevers, severe diarrhea, etc., but of course Google sends me down rabbit holes about Crohn’s disease and all kinds of scary things. I have no symptoms of crohns and have severe constipation unless I take miralax everyday and magnesium.

I’m curious if other women have:
fissures that flare around their period
pelvic congestion/heaviness before menstruation
hemorrhoids that worsen hormonally
nerve-like buzzing/burning sensations in the pelvic area during PMS
postpartum pelvic floor changes that never fully went away
Would especially love to hear from women whose fissures were more related to hormones/pelvic floor tension/childbirth rather than a major GI disease. Did anything help you long term?
