I've been seeing my therapist since I was 19 years old (I'll be 30 in a few months). I've noticed the past few sessions (sessions have been once every three ish months), it felt like I just had a conversation with a friend. Like, I don't feel like I'm getting any more growth, which totally makes sense, it's been a loooong time! I started seeing another therapist who specializes in somatic work, which is where I've realized is where the next leg of my healing journey is leading (feeling feelings is hard, am I right??). I am so thankful to my therapist and have had such a good relationship with her. How do I politely say "You've done all you can for me, it's time for me to move on"?
