What does illustrativeDNA tend to overestimate or underestimate?

I’ve been looking through results on here and noticing people pointing out that it can be inaccurate. What does illustrativeDNA tend to overestimate and underestimate?

From what I can see, for the Hunter Gatherer section it overestimate AASI by a couple percentage points, and may be confusing Zagros with CHG at times.

Is there anything else you have noticed consistent issues with, when it comes to overestimates and underestimates?

Mixed South Asian / European IllustrativeDNA results

50% South Asian (Guyanese, originally from Uttar Pradesh) + 50% European (Italian / UK). These are my own results. It looks like IllustrativeDNA has some trouble differentiating between the different European groups depending on the time period.

I know these regions are assigned if you have 4+ relatives who’ve self inputted they have ancestry from there. My main questions center on the accuracy of this, and by extension, the accuracy of further off DNA relatives. I‘m under the assumption that any DNA relative further than a 3rd cousin is only accurate maybe 50% of the time?

Haplogroups M6 and R-L2… 220 Neanderthal variants.

Is it worth it to sign up for 23andMe Premium for the Reconstructed Ancestors service? I’d like to reconstruct my grandparents but since I don’t have many close relatives that have tested on the platform I‘m not sure how well that would function.
