TL;DR: GF got blackout drunk with a group that included a guy who hit on her, didn't tell me until 2 days later that he held her, and also didn't tell me she went to watch the
sunrise with the same group the next morning until I asked. Not sure if I'm overthinking or if this is a red flag.
My girlfriend and I have been in a long-distance relationship for a little over 3 months now.
A couple days ago, she went out with her female best friend and they both got blackout drunk at a bar. While they were there, a mixed group of guys and girls invited them to join. She said yes and kept drinking to the point where she couldn’t even stand properly.
According to her, one of the guys in that group hit on her, and she told him she was taken (this is just based on what she told me). She didn’t tell me everything right away though — she only mentioned two days later that this same guy held her twice because she was too drunk to stand on her own.
The next morning, someone from that same group called her best friend to go watch the sunrise. My girlfriend knew it was the same group — including that same guy — but still went. What bothers me is that she didn’t tell me about this either. She texted me “good morning” when she was leaving, so she had the chance to mention it but didn’t.
I only found out about the sunrise part because I asked her later — that’s when she told me.
So now I’m stuck wondering if I’m overthinking this or if these are actual red flags. The delayed information and things being left out are what’s bothering me the most.
