Calling all romance experts—how did you guys win your girlfriends over? I need advice.
I met this girl at a party. She’s a friend of a friend. We both got a little tipsy, and somehow we ended up getting pretty close. Nothing inappropriate happened, and it didn’t feel awkward, but there was this one moment where I almost stumbled, and she immediately wrapped her arms around me to catch me.
Ever since that night, I haven’t been able to stop thinking about her. It’s been a long time since I’ve wanted to be with someone this badly. I’m not expecting things to magically work out, but I do want to give myself a real chance.
And here’s the part that’s making me overthink everything: yesterday, my friend group mentioned that she specifically said she wanted me to join the next trip. So now I’m trying to figure out how to approach her without messing it up.
The problem is, I have basically zero experience with dating, so I could really use some help. How did you guys get closer to the girls you liked? Any tips?
