I am aware this sounds stupid, but I am confused about how to set up the tiles on the board correctly, for Arnak.
My question concerns the research track bonus tiles, and the idols in the expedition area.
Bonus tiles first: Should they always be random, or should some of them match the preprinted symbols? I know the instructions says "shuffle and place face down", but if that is the case, why are some of them pre-printed with specific symbols?
I realize I might have a tint of "obsessive behaviour" (it is the level below the clininal term..)
Same question goes for the idol tiles on the expedition area: Should I match some of those to the preprinted values or not? If I distribute the available tiles precisely, I can get them to match.
TLDR: I am confused by why some of the placements on the board are preprinted with specific values, if it doesn't then have a significance?
I have not been able to google anyone explaining this in further detail, and AIs understandably don't know what I am gaggling about.
