I'm having an issue with my 2001 GSX-R 600.
When I'm riding and I hit full throttle (WOT), the bike "bogs" or hits a wall for about a second before it finally clears up and starts pulling like a train.
It feels like a fuel starvation issue. The bike revs perfectly in neutral, but the hesitation only happens under load when I crack the throttle open quickly for example from 40% to 100%
Here is what I've checked so far:
STVA: Working correctly.
Fuel Tank: Has some minor rust spots inside.
Spark Plugs: About 8k km old.
I'm suspecting the high-pressure fuel filter (clogged inside the pump housing) or a tired fuel pump/pressure regulator. Do you think a full fuel pump assembly replacement will fix this "delay" in power delivery? Any other sensors (TPS, MAP) ! should look at?
Thanks for help!
