He’s been living in my mom’s house with us for the past 5 months and just started paying rent 2 months ago less than $800 and has access to basically the whole house, garage and backyard etc. we gave him his own brand new fridge a portion of the kitchen and my bathroom. This guy is a great Muslim way better than me by far and he has a better job than anyone in my family and makes more than my whole family combined. The problem is now that he’s been doing things that are not really fair for my family. He does his own laundry every week and uses our detergent which is almost empty. My family does laundry altogether once a month. He’s doing it every week for a couple of shirts and raising the water bill because of it and now the detergent that would last my whole family a week is literally almost empty. He uses all our seasoning for his food and doesn’t buy his own. He always opens my family’s fridge and always takes food from it without asking and my mom doesn’t make a lot of money and is only able to buy what she can for me and my siblings and never replaces the food after eating and before finishing the food item he would leave a tiny bit left so he wouldn’t feel responsible for replacing it in my opinion. I would also buy packs of water come to realization he would drink them all and never buy a new case to replace. I’m not sure if this behavior is normal for a Muslim, for context I only make like 16 an hour he’s making more in a month than I can in 5 months.
