Bedbug bites?

Set of 5 behind neck appeared day one (5/10), then 5/11 nothing. 5/12 8 bites appeared behind the shoulder kind of on back and the set of 3 on lower back. Checked bed and nightstands very deeply and found no signs of anything at all.

Do fleas only bite lower body?

My toddler has 13 bites on her neck / shoulder area (two separate bits, two days apart) and three bites on her lower back. I have one bite on my ankle. I saw a flea on her hand this morning, but thought they only bit lower body?

Help please!

My sister recently dropped off a cat at my apartment door with no warning. Yes. I literally opened my door to a cat with fleas that she decided she didn’t wanna take care of anymore.

The cat has been contained to one room while we try to figure out the situation. However on Mother’s Day (5/10) we noticed 5 bites on my daughter’s neck. Right around where her shirt collar would be. The next day nothing new, but today (5/12) she has 8 bites on her shoulder (very small and unlike the ones behind her neck), and then three bites on her lower back/waist area.

This morning I saw a flea on her hand and I killed it, and brushed all the bites off as probably being fleas. However I grew up in a home with fleas and never remember having bites on the upper half of my body or that many at once. So I’m really worried about bedbugs. I checked all around the bed and night stands and there’s not a single sign at all.

Last year we went through a scare between july-late September thinking we had them because she was also getting random unexplained bites around that time, but eventually when it got cold out, it stopped.

They’re not mosquito bites and we haven’t been playing outside.

Is there a chance I have both FLEAS and BEDBUGS 😭😭?
