Literally counting down the days until we can get a new mayor in Burlington who actually enforces laws. And I come from a very empathetic social services background. I really hope there’s some quality candidates and that people vote for them. The lack of enforcement about public loitering and drug use (feeding chittenden, Perkins pier, downtown) while focusing on other issues is insane. Don’t get me wrong, I want to be eco friendly too but let’s focus on some NOW issues first.
