So I came across this article from BBC. Apart from the grammatical mistakes in the title, I also find it uncomfortable to read, because a 45 year old woman is blaming "patriarchy" for her need to hide her age. Since men are not allowed to ask a woman's age by decorum, she hides her age for weeks before revealing it and argues it is acceptable. She is also scared that her man might end things after she reveals her age because of men's "way of thinking". I am wondering if this sits well with other people too ? especially women
I didn't tell my boyfriend my age when we started dating. I worried he might end things
