I'd like to introduce the game to my kids, nothing spectacular, a couple moves per day, but I'm not sure how much they can actually play at their age. Any thoughts?

We do boardgames from time to time, and they know how to play Defenders of the Realm and a handful of others well enough, but HoMM3 seems like a large jump in complexity.
