I am planning a trip to Rome in July and would like to book tickets online for the Colosseum and the Roman Forum. There is a significant price difference between the reduced ticket for visitors up to 25 years old and the standard ticket.

I was born on March 31, 2001, I am currently 25 years old, and I have a valid Medical University student ID. Am I still eligible for the reduced ticket?

My girlfriend was born in September 2001, so her reduced ticket is definitely still valid, but I am not sure whether I can purchase the same type of ticket online for myself.

I am traveling to Florence in July. I turned 25 years old on March 31st this year.

I have read that tickets for the Uffizi Gallery are reduced from around 25 euros to 2 euros for visitors up to 25 years old, and that there is a similar policy at the Accademia Gallery.

Am I required to pay over 20 euros more just because I have already turned 25 a few months before my visit?

My girlfriend was also born in 2001, but she will turn 25 only in September, so she will still be 24 during our trip. How is this usually checked during ticket control?

I would also like to mention that I am still a university student and I have a valid student ID from a medical university in Poland.
