I decided to stop wasting that gazebo space! I’m not a pro, but I spent a lot of time designing and engineering this 4-panel Dmegc (465W each) array.
Key Specs:
Angle: 10° tilt (stealth look).
Power: Doubled my total house output!
Connection: Utilized a spare MPPT on my existing inverter.
It’s not often you get to double your production with just a garden structure. DIY solar is addictive!

Hi everyone!
Not a professional installer, but I wanted to share my recent "over-engineered" DIY project looks good enough for a professional (maybe).
I had a spare MPPT on my existing inverter (currently running 10 panels on the main roof) and decided to put the gazebo to work.
The Setup:
Panels: 4x Dmegc 465W (Total 1.86kW)
Pitch: 10° tilt. I kept it shallow to maintain the gazebo's profile and ensure the panels didn't "stick out" too much visually.
Integration: Wired directly into the secondary MPPT of my main inverter.
Even with the low tilt, this has effectively added 40% to my total solar output. Really happy with how the engineering turned out.

What do you guys think of the mounting?
