ISSUE: Focus Pen only works while attached
I’ve had my Xiaomi Focus Pen for almost 10 months now and it has been working perfectly fine until today.
Earlier, I placed my pen safely inside my bag and left it disconnected from my Xiaomi Pad 7 for around 5 hours. When I tried using it again, the battery was suddenly at 0% and the pen would no longer work properly.
I tried attaching to charge, and the tablet does detect it while attached. However, the moment I detach the pen, the battery instantly drops back to 0% again and it disconnects.
I already tried:
1)charging it for a long time
restarting the tablet
reattaching the pen multiple times
Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a battery failure or is there still a way to fix it?
I will go to the service center in my area tomorrow, but I just want some thoughts in case someone already experienced this issue
