Around 12:50am this morning, I was driving north on 1-9 local, a mile or two prior to where you can go up the Pulaski Skyway on the left or head to the west side of jersey city / 95 on the right.

I started to slow down because I was pulling up to what i thought was construction, but then I realized it was a ton of passenger cars pulled up along the center median and loads and loads of young people were outside of their cars.

As I got closer, they all started running (in what seemed like a panic) towards the direction I was coming from. Not gonna lie -- I was confused AF -- couldn't tell if there was gunfire happening or what -- def made me nervous 😅 .

Anyway, does anyone know what this was about? Drag racing? Kids being idiots?

NYC area here. Have wanted to see "I Swear", but haven't had time to get around to it yet. When looking for showings, I see it's only been playing once per day. And I don't see any showings for the weekend. I assume this means it's not making any money / AMC's given up on it / I'll have to wait for streaming?
