I was wondering what I did wrong to cause top growth to die and the bed to look generally unhealthy. Dug some up. Found maggots and internal damage. Removed all affected plants. An allium pest? The miner type?

From 100+ down to 52 that look OK. But now I'm scared they will fall one by one.

Beautiful sight to see. Morels in my garden after years and years looking for them in the wild.

I'd like to know if there's a way to keep them popping up? I harvested these two straight away then thought maybe I should have left them to drop spores. Now they'll be brekkie for tomorrow morning.

I'm thinking, keep it wet and add more woodchip from the same source...
