[WTT][WW] Tetsujin 210 B2 Metalflow w/ snakewood handle

Hi All - I recently picked up this Tetsujin, bnib, but have decided im more interested in a 210/240 mm wide bevel. Id really like either a Tanaka x Kyuzo or a Nakagawa x Kyuzo Ginsan, never sharpened. Also open to other mid/higher end lasers preferably in ginsan.

Also interested in an Edd Gyuto

Im located in US but open to worldwide

Hi All - Quick question. I have a 240 mm JKI Kochi with burnt chestnut handle. This knife comes in around ~170 g which is mainly due to the very light burnt chestnut handle, as I think the blade is actually fairly substantial. The knife is a fantastic cutter, great geometry, I just can't get over the fact that the balance point is very far forward due to the light handle. I do use a pinch grip but this falls even further out.

Here's my question. JKI and Wakui clearly know more about knife performance than I do, and I would expect they not only considered this balance point but were very intentional about what they were doing. So why is it that some knives have a balance point closer to tang/choil (where my pinch grip naturally lands), while this one is quite a bit farther forward? I'm learning that my preference is closer to the tang/choil, but I figured I'd get a better understanding of why some people like it further out to see if I'm missing something.

With this concern, and this price point, is it worth rehandling it or should I just look for an alternative knife altogether?

I purchased used on BST, previous owner only used a "handful of times", and I've used a similar amount. Its never been sharpened. I'm selling because I'm very much in a try everything phase, and while its an incredible knife, being my first 240 and my first workhorse, it's a little more knife than I need right now. The fit and finish, rounded and polished choil and spine is the nicest of all of my knives.

JNS Wakui 240mm gyuto. White # 2 with stainless KU cladding. Polished choil and spine with an Ebony handle. Great workhorse knife. I got a great price in it which ill pass along here. $300 shipped f&f, or $310 g&s.

Hi All - I've set up UGMA custodial accounts for my children, and have planned to DCA into VTI or similar index fund. My plan was to stretch this over 6 months or so with the market feeling on the brink of something recessinary.

I was going to stick the non invested portion into a money marker fund, currently yielding about 3.15% annually, but the idea crossed my mind to purchase some brk.b shares instead.

Im just looking for validation that this isnt a reckless idea? I know the massive cash holding is in treasuries anyways, so the return should probably not be far off from a MM fund, with the obvious caveat that a market decline will still have a negative impact on brk.b, but will also present opportunities for Berkshire to make its move into opportunities.

Thoughts? Would some of you even recommend leaving in brk.b longer term instead of VTI?
