I had a pretty bad bimalleolar ankle fracture which required orif and recovery took quite a while but I kind of skimped on pt as this was right before my college starting , and slacked off once I arrived at college ( hostels are in campus ) and I noticed I had balance issues where I’d randomly lose balance and it would feel like the ground is pushing back on some steps , I even started working out again but it’s been almost 10 months now and that feeling never quite went away and I still have it all the time where I feel “dizzy” but not quite and I still can’t balance on one leg for over like 5 seconds max what do I do now my removal surgery is scheduled in the next month I’m really worried about this and wanted to know if this is normal and if not what can I do to help my current situation ( ps don’t know if it’s related but I have random panic/anxiety attacks I plan to get it checked soon don’t know if it could be related )
