With the drama of ticket purchases behind us and the drama of panel selection yet to come, it’s time to start thinking about SWAG.
SWC2925 was my first SWC and was completely unprepared for this part of the event. Was blown away by what people had taken the time to prepare and were just giving away for free… so this time around I need to pay it forward and start thinking about preparing my own SWAG.
So what do people like? Stickers seemed to be the most popular, but there were badges. 3D printed items, photos… all sorts. Looking for opinions on what resonates most with people.
For me, this Yoda Buddha is the one I remember most fondly. While it is cool in its own right, we got it from a father and daughter on the last day on our way back to the hotel to get our stuff. They were in Japan from Arizona, and got to talking. This was the last of their SWAG and they shared it with us. Will always remember them. It’s a small token but makes lasting memories.
Despite all the crap of today, remember what SWC is all about.
