forgive any rambling, as the title states im going insane over this
FOUR treatments, Ivermectin and Crotamiton combined every time and i still have new bumps. I dont know if im doing it to myself at this point or not because every gp ive seen has queried "how has it failed? what did you do" and well..
I hoovered, daily
mopped floors
bagged things for TWO WEEKS
washed clothing with gloves on, i have gone through TWO HUNDRED pairs of gloves
changed bedding
stopped ALL physical contact
bought a new bath scrub
bought a new mattress (not scabies related but even still)
hoovered my keyboard mouse mousepad gamepad -- you get the idea.. i did everything AND SOME
and here i am, 4 treatments later and .. im getting itchier 9 days after most recent treatment, i am breaking out on my legs (behind my knees), hips, bum and hands. antihystamines arent working. i **THINK** i have new track lines but many sources say old ones can reappear while healing.
All my old bumps are getting a deeper red/drying out (i had a mix of pimple-like scabies and blistered scabies)
my hands and feet rn are itchy, ive used special soaps, aloe, itch cream. I've not been able to leave the house in 2 months because i hate how it made me look, ive had actual nightmares at this point. any itch makes my heart rate spike in anxiety.. im breaking down im so lost.. i miss human contact and my friends..
is there any light at the end here? did anyone else mayhaps get SO much worse after treatment after treatment for it to just.. stop and leave you alone?
