On one hand, AI is everywhere now and getting baked into basically everything. So it feels inevitable that smart rings will start using AI agents to analyze stuff like sleep, HRV, SpO₂, etc., and maybe even tell us what to do, not just show raw data.

But on the other hand… should we be a bit concerned about all that health data being fed into AI systems? Like, where does it go, who owns it, and how is it being used?

Curious where people land on this. are you excited about smarter insights, or slightly uneasy about how deep this could go?

Feels like every other week there’s a new one launching on Kickstarter.

But honestly… I’m not convinced. Most of them don’t seem meaningfully different from Oura and definitely not better.

So do we actually need this many smart rings? or is it just a wave of copycats riding the trend?

Feels kinda boring tbh… are there really no other options? I'd like to pick vivid colors like lime green, coral or orange. Why isn’t anyone doing that?

I’m currently using Oura Ring and Apple Watch. They both show scores and metrics, but really explain why my numbers are high or low or what I should do about it.

wanna know if anyone’s found a wearable that goes beyond tracking and actually tells you how to improve (sleep, recovery, energy, etc...) Any recommendations?

I do tennis + swimming + cycling, and I’m not always sure if I’m pushing too hard or recovering enough.

Do those “readiness” or “energy” scores actually help you decide when to train vs rest? Or is it mostly guesswork?

was wondering what people here are using.

I keep seeing rings that claim to tell you when your body is high vs low energy… but how real is that?
Has anyone here actually used one and found it useful?
