We were told that, even for subjects like math, assessment is based on a triangulation method product, observation, and conversation. When we asked how our child could improve her grades, we were advised that she should speak up if she feels a mark is unfair.
For other subjects, I can understand giving weight to different types of assessment, but for math it feels unnecessary and confusing.
Is this actually a real approach?
