About leaving a job early into working
I just started working at a retail, minimum-wage job and I am being scheduled on dates that I keep on asking not to be scheduled. For instance, I have an extremely important event next week, and even though I told my manager on the day of my orientation that I cannot work that day, I was still scheduled. I cannot even switch my shifts with people since I have to text them first, but I haven't been given anyone's contact information.
I am being told that I should quit by my friends, but my job is so easy and I feel like kind of a wuss if I do quit. I'm wondering if I should just stick it out or not?
Thanks for any advice :).
