I live in the Middle East, which is place that heavily discriminates against anyone not cis and straight, like an ace person. Additionally, it also has this sense of urgency when it comes to marriage, like many regions in the world. My parents have given me a deadline of 3 years before they will “force” me to marry someone. I dont want to sever my ties with them but I also don’t want to marry a random girl. That’s why the idea of a marriage of convenience has been floating in my mind. Has anyone been in a similar situation, or knows where to start with finding people for a marriage of convenience?
