As the caption says ahahah I bought them as bloody marry but I saw a looot darker bloody marrys so Im not sure, also want to put one more color next to them (Red rili or blue dream since blue dream comes from the same line as bloody marry) because I love rilis and blue shrimps.
So what do you all suggest me lol and also what do you think, are these all bloody marrys

Hi all, just added 12 bloody marry neos to my newly cycled tank. Its been 3 days now and they seemed to be okey to me, they are wondering around, going bere and there, doing cleaning etc. but what I find is odd that, Yesterday 3 or 4 of them always ended up here, now they are even more, like they go around clean and do stuff but come back and sit on top of each others lol is this normal?

I dont have tests now but they are coming, I checked it before I add them and everything seemed normal. There was a root tab near that space btw

Hi everyone, I’m cycling a 52 liter (45x28x42 cm / ~14 gal) planted nano community and would love feedback on the concept before stocking.

Current hardscape / plants

Fine sand substrate (for bottom dwellers and shrimp)

Rock cave hardscape + driftwood

Anubias barteri (left side and mid-background)

Cryptocoryne parva foreground

Ceratophyllum demersum (Hornwort / “foxtail”) for back/right jungle growth

Likely Sagittaria subulata / dwarf sag runners spreading as a grassy foreground

Floating duckweed for light diffusion (may switch to Salvinia later)

Moss on wood planned

Intended livestock

6–7 Threadfin Rainbowfish (Iriatherina werneri) as the main shoal

Neocaridina shrimp colony

Bottom crew still undecided between:

4-5 Corydoras similis

OR

1 male + 2 female Stiphodon gobies

Concept

Trying to build layered behavior zones:

Open upper water for threadfin displays, so I intended to leave higher places open for them

Mid-level plant corridors for weaving/swimming

Left foreground grassy grazing zone for shrimp + goby perching

Right hornwort thicket as cover/jungle zone

Rock corridors as bottom territory routes

I want it peaceful, naturalistic, and behavior-rich rather than heavily stocked.

Questions

Is this overstocked for 52L if keeping threadfins + shrimp + bottom species?

Any compatibility concerns I’m missing?

Would you adjust plant choices for better cover / flow for threadfins?

Intended livestock

6–7 Threadfin Rainbowfish (Iriatherina werneri) as the main shoal

Neocaridina shrimp colony or Amano Shrimp, not sure which one suits the best

Bottom crew still undecided between:

5-6 Corydoras similis

OR

1 male + 2 female Stiphodon gobies (if possible, together with corys)

OR

1 male + 2 female Bumblebee gobies (if possible, together with corys)

Not sure about gobies because some resources say they need brackish water, some says not, some resources say they love to fin nip and some says not lol.

I love watching perching fishes and weird looking fishes, so I’m also open to any suggestions on those who are weird and good with corydoras, but since my little brother has a fear of snakes I can’t get Kuhli’s

Would you get Corydoras similis together Stiphodon or any kind of goby here?
