Do you feel autistic men in general are more babied than autistic women? If so, does it create bitterness towards autistic men when they gripe about their issues or problems?
So, I've posted across threads and other mediums about my issues with emotional intelligence and thought/task management for feedback. What I've noticed is that alot of the autistic women replying or chiming in will sort of chastise me for seeking understanding/acceptance about my musings. Kind of like you should know better and if we had to work on to improve ourselves, then you can too without being babied around. Not all of them will, I just wondered what would illicit a reaction/response in that manner? Is it bitterness or like jaded feelings from personal experiences?
