I am planning to apply for an ILR under a 10 year long residence route. I have absences over 548 days before 11 April 2024, the majority of this came from a single absence during covid where I left the country more than 184 day (about 10 days over limit). I believe that I am able to provide strong evidence to support my case.
My question is, should I apply for ILR early using the 28 day rule.
I entered the UK on 12 September 2016, but vignette shows that I was granted from 26 Aug 2016. Since I already have extra absence, should I apply early?
Note: if my ~200 day absence during covid is disregarded, my total absence before 11 April 2024 will be around 430 days.
Thank you!
