When my wisdom tooth on my left side started growing in, I began to feel occasional numbness and tingling in my lower lip and left side of my chin. Nothing very persistent or super alarming, I just figured it was growing close to my nerves. Well, when I got my wisdom tooth surgery to remove all 4 teeth, my surgeon let me know she had to really dig out the left tooth and cut it out of my jawbone. Which caused the healing process of my left side to be extremely difficult. Ever since then, the occasional tingling and numbness have stuck around. Has something like this happened to anyone else? I am worried this tooth might have royally messed up my nerve.
