I am quite active on reddit, this year I am getting a MBBS seat in a GMC and CSE/ECE in a decent NIT(Tier2). What I found on r/indianmedschool is quite demoralizing, 99percent of the people telling me not to pursue Medicine and how their peeps in the same level earning a lot more doing engineering. Can you please guide should if I should really take CSE or what are its future possibilities and uncertainties due to AI and Other things. Or what are your takes compared to your friends who took up medicine.

Edit- Please Elaborate your answers a little bit,🥲

I have been following this sub for a long time now, i have found this sub is against everyone planning to pursue MBBS or go into the medical field. The people who are pursuing this field are quite regretful of it. On the other hand i see a hell lot bunch of folks in the BTECH sub motivating each other and getting good packages. Is the future of MBBS really doomed or this sub is some kind of echo chamber for venting out.

Like is it way to bad to pursue compared to CSE

I think I will be getting a good GMC (WB) and also CSE/ECE in a decent NIT. I am kinda leaned towards MBBS, i like it but if you suggest I would go for CSE.

I am GEN Male from Tier2 City. Plisss answer honestly, i am nice person, my future is now in your hands🤧, asking you people bcs i dont know anybody related to it😭

Edit- batana hai to batao, downvote mat karo
