25M still trying to make sense of the world. About a year ago I paid off my student loans (an excess of $30,000) and my credit dropped from 805-815 down to 765-780. Since then I have been working it back up.

Just curious why this happens? Drop in credit age (only 3 years)?

25M - personal brokerage. Started investing early 2025 after listening in on some old timers at work talk markets. Began by just watching earnings and market news - still learning.

Recently started to scour Reddit forums on option trading and portfolio goals. Any advice for a dummy trying to learn?
