I have had dry scalp before, but a few years ago I randomly developed small but bad patches of dry skin on my scalp; Always right near my temples.

Maybe 2 or so years ago I noticed it would flare up if I had been overly stressed, so I determined it to be Psoriasis. It would usually go away after a week or so.

The last few months it is constant - still near the temples but I also have additional persistent spots (above neck a few centimetres into hair line, back right side of hairline and I can feel a few ‘scaby’ areas if I run my fingers through my hair.

It’s itchy, and I can scratch off what I would imagine to be like a mild case of cradle cap.

Over the past few years, I’ve tried the following shampoos:
- head and shoulders (current)
- Selsun Gold (current occasionally)
- Selsun Blue
- T/Gel
- Nizoral (once)
- Davroe Deep Cleanse
And sometimes I will lather MooGoo Scalp Repair Cream and leave on for an hour before washing my hair.

It’s driving me nuts, next step is asking the doctor for a dermatologist referral but wanted to know your thoughts.

Pics attached, although it’s a little hard to see. I washed my hair tonight and these pics are from once my hair was nearly dry 😓

Thanks!
