Help needed: Purdue tells me they can only authorize 2 CPT (2 internships)
Title and they are also including part time CPT. What type of ugly behavior is this. US government allows 12 month of CPT authorization. Can someone please advise on how you navigated this. Atp it seems it's better for my career if I transfer to iu

Are freshman year internships common
Title Student at T20 CS T50 overall. Most people around me are getting internships for summer. I treated my year more for exploring things. I have paid AI research for the summer (Its NSF funded lab). It will pay me around 12-14k. Am I falling behind. I am so sorry for myself and failing my parents by not getting a internship this summer. :(
