Metronet and Tmobile merger gave me free wifi???
I've realized that ive gone MONTHS without paying for my internet service as I was going through my bank statements, which was bewildering to me since I've been sporting 1 gig this entire time. I went to go look at my metronet account and it says I have $0 due... even weirder, it says my account is inactive. I called to try and get it reactivated, they sent me on a back and forth between tmobile and themselves, finally got to an agent who told me that I'd have to call tmobile to get my service through them, and they'll send me something to send my equipment back, yada yada yada-
But before I left I asked her the question of "Wait, but why am I still receiving service if my account is inactive?"
She told me she had no idea and was transferring me over to IT, I waited on the line for about 5mins... until I released maybe I shouldn't expose myself for leeching off of them for 4 months. Only reason I called is because I started crashing whenever I stream to tiktok now...
I don't know, I thought this was interesting. Thoughts?
