Hey everyone. Want your input on my setup. Open floor plan with semi-separated dining room and living room. The locale of the entertainment area is 17’ wide x 14’ deep. This does not include the dining area which is partially separated by a 5’ deep wall where one of the surrounds is located. Distance to front speakers is 10 feet. Current setup is 5.1. Looking for accommodation of both home theater and music.
Yes, I’m a newb. Played around with whatever I had available for years. Had an older Denon 7.1 receiver and mixed speakers. Ran into a work bonus and went impulsive.
Plan to upgrade in the future at a different home location.
