Looking for job!
Hello everyone! I’m seeking guidance and opportunities 🙏
I am currently looking for a work-from-home position as an estimator. I am based in the Philippines and have a background in civil engineering, although I am not yet a licensed Civil Engineer (I have taken the board exam multiple times and still plan to continue pursuing it).
I have experience working with Excel, spreadsheets, and MS Office, particularly in organizing and managing data. I also have basic knowledge and hands-on experience with engineering software such as AutoCAD, PlanSwift, and Revit. I am highly willing to learn more estimating tools and continuously improve my skills to meet job requirements.
At this time, I am very eager to find a job to support my financial needs, especially for my ongoing board exam review and to help my family.
I would like to ask:
- What skills or software are commonly required for WFH estimator roles?
- What steps can I take to improve my chances of getting hired?
- Are there any companies or opportunities you can recommend?
I am open to entry-level roles and training opportunities. Any advice, tips, or referrals would be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much for your time! 🙏
