I’m planning to buy a new gaming laptop. Would it work if I store my games on an external 2TB HDD (since it’s much cheaper than an SSD), and then move a game to the laptop’s internal SSD only when I want to play it? I’d move it back to the external HDD when I’m done. Has anyone done this? I'll mainly store big AAA games like Cyberpunk or RDR2.
