hello, I have tried accutane 3 years ago, went on antibiotics twice, and tried spironolactone. I went on antibiotics in high school and it worked great, but the acne came back. and then i went on accutane, and again the acne came back. I went on antibiotics again because I was desperate for clear skin. I tried clindamycin, azelaic acid, and tretinoin. And lately i have tried spirnolactone and it worked pretty good but the side effects were so bad. Now i am just keeping a basic routine where I use a gentle cleanser in the morning, dapsone (i dont think it does anything), and moisturizer. and using tretinoin 0.05% at night with my moisturizer. And it just sucks because I feel my acne is hormonal because it changes throughout the month pretty significantly and there is no way to really cure that without oral medication it feels.
