Is it normal for my baby to be THIS upset by teething? He is just about to turn 6 months and he is already getting his 4th tooth. The bottom two, he was fussy but I don't remember it being too awful - we gave Tylenol here and there.

Last week, he got one of his top middle teeth and he was almost inconsolable for about 3 days. Tylenol helped a bit. I even took him to the doctor to rule out ear infection or anything else, but everything else was fine. I am like 50% sure he's getting his other top middle tooth based on how it looks, plus the drool and frantically trying to bite on things.

I've tried teething drops, obviously all kinds of teethers and cold washcloths, etc, but he will go through bouts of screaming for like an hour, and when he's not scream crying, he's generally just fussy.

I read that some babies are completely unbothered by teeth, and that babies may be uncomfortable but shouldn't be scream crying. Has anyone else had a similar baby?
