Hello,

I had a guitar that I had no strings on for a while. Today I decided was the day to restring it. While I was able to get the strings in tune it doesn't matter what note I fret it plays the same note. Has anyone ever had this problem? I've been playing for years and have never seen this. Is this a simple fix? I had the neck on another guitar and it worked fine until I pit it back on the original body.

Guitar is a fender player telecaster 2020 and it has locking tuners if that is relevant.

Edit: I am an idiot, I didn't screw the neck all the way on, tightened and it worked immediately.
