I came to this city three years ago, not really knowing what to expect... Somehow, in those years, it gave me everything. It made me feel things deeply, both good and bad, and changed me in ways I didn’t notice at first.

And now I have to leave.

There were days I walked through these streets with a heavy heart, just trying to clear my head. You see so many people around, but it’s easy to feel alone in a busy city. I always thought that’s just how cities are.

But Trivandrum wasn’t like that for me.

Somehow, it didn’t let me feel alone. In its own quiet way, it felt like it was there for me. Like it understood. I remember one walk in particular, a walk through Kowdiar at midnight...

I don’t know what changed, but by the end of it, I felt lighter. Like I wasn’t carrying everything by myself anymore.

For a moment, it felt like I was with my അമ്മ.

That’s what I’ll carry with me.

Thank you, Trivandrum, for being more than just a place. I don’t know when, but I’ll come back. Not just to visit… to LIVE AGAIN ❤️
