It was my promotion match, so my stress was already affecting me. So when I predicted a switch to a potential Gengar in the back and went for Aqua Cutter instead of Sacred Sword with my scarf Hisuian Samurott, I was so happy to be right. Only for base Gengar's Cursed Body to disable it.

Now I was down 2 to 3 with one disabled Pokemon: Samurott and Corviknight against Mega Gengar, Alolan Ninetales, and Incineroar, all hurt.

The final turn ended up being H-Samurott struggle killing A9 and surviving the recoil with 4 hp, Gengar targeting the Samurott that would outspeed and kill it next turn, and my Corviknight getting the Brave Bird kill on Gengar, giving me the win with no Pokemon left on the field.

What a way to end the season.
