What’s with the fixation on finding the “name” for every trend/aesthetic? Not every trend has a name, and most names were made up later (eg. Shoe diva, indie sleaze, Frutiger aero, etc.). The obsession with categorising every trend/style is actually killing creativity.

This is a really new phenomenon btw, it’s like the TikTokification of fashion. If it can be named and packaged, it can be sold. Be creative.
