So i went on a date recently w a friend of a friend. we’ve known each other a bit, just casual convos here n there. i’ve always found her attractive so i finally asked her out n she said yes.

Went into it tryna do things right—good fit, grooming on point, brought her flowers, just being myself n putting in effort without overdoing it. At the start it felt kinda neutral, so i thought maybe she’s just shy/introverted. i tried to make her comfortable, keep things easy n flowing. it got a bit better after some time.

but overall the vibe still felt kinda low energy. like… i couldn’t really tell if she was into me or just being nice. so i didn’t push anything, didn’t feel that “fuck yes” energy.

Then later she texts saying she had a great time n wants to see me again??

now i’m confused lol:

am i expecting too much obvious interest on a first date? do some ppl just come off reserved even if they’re into u? or am i just bad at reading the vibe?

not blaming her at all, just tryna understand what’s going on from my side. y’all been in this situation?
