Guys, I'm trying to get my first Tech Sales gig. Been failing a lot of recruiter screens and final interviews. Got 2 questions

Q1 - If a HM/panel says no reservations in the final interview, gives you an expected decision date, and yet rejects you, what is the most likely cause?

Q2 - Same question for the recruiter screen, where the recruiter says no reservations but doesn't share the next steps, quoting talking to more candidates.
