Not really sure how this whole reddit thing works, but I'll give it a go. So my boyfriend and I have been together 3 years. He has a son (10) from a previous relationship and then we have 2 kids together. Anyways today we were on the phone (he is a truck driver and gone long hours) and he says he doesn't mind working nights/being gone nights on the weeks his son isn't here because he "wants to spend time with all of us when (son) is here." ....... Am I wrong to feel a little hurt by this? Of course it is important to spend time with his son, but what about the other two kids? They only get to see their dad when their brother is here?
