anyone else done with booking.com or is it just me??
hiii so i don't know if this is a me problem but every single time i try to book something on booking.com i get to the checkout and suddenly there's like 3 extra fees that weren't there before. like i'll find a hotel for €85/night, think ok cool that's reasonable, and then by the end it's €120+ with some "property fee" and "service fee" and god knows what else. like just show me the actual price from the beginning?? is that so hard??
it's been getting worse too, i swear a couple years ago it wasn't this bad. now i dread getting to the checkout page lol
so yeah i'm pretty much done with them at this point. what are you guys actually using to book hotels/hostels these days? is there anything that's actually upfront with pricing or is every platform doing this now
any recommendations would really help bc i have a trip coming up and i genuinely don't know where to book anymore...
