I built FuelTarget — a Connect IQ app that tells you how much to eat based on what you actually burned
Background: I got tired of MyFitnessPal asking me to log my whole day before it'd suggest a calorie target. My Garmin already knows my BMR, my burn so far, and the time. So I built FuelTarget — it reads those three numbers and projects an end-of-day "eat this" number that adjusts as the day goes.
What it does:
- Live calorie target on the watch face — climbs when you burn, settles when you rest
- Three goal modes (Cut / Maintain / Bulk) tint the background and shift the target by your configured deficit/surplus
- Second page gives macro targets tuned to whether today is a Rest/Strength / Endurance / Mixed day
- Glance widget so you can read the number without opening the app
- Zero data leaves your wrist — UserProfile + ActivityMonitor only, no network requests
Works on FR965/955, Fenix 7 series, Venu 3/3s. Free on the Connect IQ Store.
Feedback wanted, especially from people doing structured training. What would you want page 3 to be?
